  • What to Expect

  • New to Chiropractic Services? What You Can Expect!

When it comes time for your first chiropractic appointment, chances are, you are either excited and optimistic for our services or possibly overwhelming or scared from stories you’ve read or heard, and are just not sure what to expect. We want to put your mind at ease. From the moment you walk through our office door, our inviting and welcoming family-oriented staff will be waiting to greet you.

On your first visit, our staff will ask you to fill out a very simple and easy-to-understand form. What we want to learn about you, how your life is being affected, and your medical history. After providing this information, you will have the opportunity to sit down with Dr. Copeland and talk about how your feeling.

For us to provide any chiropractic services and alleviate your pain, we must have a good conversation so we can establish a history surrounding the problem, allowing us to find the best treatment designed for you.

You can also anticipate a preliminary exam to assess if we can help. This exam will consist of observing bow mechanics, basic posture, range of motion in the neck and lower back, orthopedic or medical tests, and even x-rays, if necessary. After proper assessment, we will provide our professional feedback and recommendations.

If your situation does allow for us to help, we may be able to perform the adjustment in the same visit. There may be some cases where patients will have to come back, giving us proper time to prepare and study the information, such as x-rays. When you do come back for your next visit, we will provide a write up of our learnings revolving around your situation. You will be given a chance to ask questions so we can establish a game-plan to get you on the road to recovery.

The entire process, from the moment you walk in until the moment leave, should only take a maximum of 45 minutes. In fact, after your initial visit, if you are booking an adjustment or decompression, it will take less than 15 minutes for the entire service.
