Chiropractor
Cale Copeland D.C.
I couldn’t dream of having a better job! I have been a Chiropractor since 2006 and I’m more excited now than I ever have been.

It has been a pleasure to help thousands of people over that time and many of them came to see us as a last resort.
The best part of this job is being a partner with people as they heal. Chiropractic works because it ignites the body’s natural innate capacity that we all have. I never cease to be awed by this healing process and I feel so grateful to have been called to this career.
Chiropractic turns the power of your body’s healing mechanism on. Like flipping a switch to health. Being a Chiropractor takes huge commitment, passion, humility, courage, hard work, responsibility and integrity. Being a Chiropractor has made me a better person than I ever dreamed I would be. I am so grateful for what Chiropractic has meant for my health and that of my family and for being able to provide such a needed service to mankind.
I graduated in 2005 from Palmer College of Chiropractic West as class Valedictorian, Magna Cum Laude and was also a member of the school’s prestigious sports council. I am a member of the British Columbia Chiropractic Association and the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. I have been the official Chiropractor for the Victoria Grizzlies junior hockey club since 2007. I love volunteering my services to the homeless at Our Place every third Friday of the month and have been doing so since 2010. We believe in supporting our community and regularly donate to local charities, food banks and schools. I attend four to six post-graduate trainings yearly throughout North America, by the grace of my amazing wife, because I believe in lifelong learning.

FRIEDE kIERNAN d.C.
Dr. Friede Kiernan was born and raised in Calgary and received a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Calgary.

She then moved on to San Jose to complete her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic West Campus.
After struggling with sport related injuries while growing up, Friede sought various therapeutic techniques to help manage the pain and elevate her game. Chiropractic care was the only modality that got her pain free and back to doing what she loved. After experiencing the amazing results herself, she started working in a chiropractic office and was able to witness many testimonials of improved wellbeing and mobility. It was during this time Friede knew chiropractic was the path she was meant to follow.
With a passion for the human body, Friede combines hands on chiropractic care and soft tissue modalities with education and exercise prescription to keep patients functioning optimally.
With a specialized interest in families, Friede enjoys supporting both parents and children and is a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. Through treatment and physical literacy education, she helps families thrive and bond around the common value of wellbeing, ultimately living healthier, happier lives.
Friede is also Webster Certified, which focuses on prenatal and postnatal chiropractic care. This technique supports the mother’s musculoskeletal system to help reduce stress on the body during pregnancy and through the birthing process.
Being from Calgary, Friede has always enjoyed spending time outdoors in the Rocky Mountains and is eager to explore what the Island has to offer. On weekends you can find her baking, checking out new destinations or seeking out the next best food spots around town.

From a young age I knew I wanted to help people. After graduating high school, I completed the Nursing degree program at Camosun/UVic. Most of my nursing career was in the O.R. and included being team leader for Women’s Health in a major American hospital. Although my nursing introduced me to opportunities I may not have otherwise experienced, after the birth of my second child, I choose not to return. A difficult decision at the time, I now know that being part of VFC makes me feel like I am providing the help and care I’ve always wanted to give. I’m married to the best man ever and as a mom of two very active kids, there is little spare time but when there is I enjoy running, cooking, and hanging out with my family inside or out!
